Jaycee Creed
"That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life; That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations; That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise; That government should be of laws rather than of men; That earth's great treasure lies in human personality; And that service to humanity is the best work of life."

The Mt. Airy Jaycees and The Mt. Airy Lions team up for this event. Children 12 and younger come out to parade for the senior citizens at Lorien. It was great 2006 the seniors asked us to walk through twice because they enjoyed it so much. The Mayor comes out and gives a trophy to his favorite, plus a costume contest for each age group. Prizes are awarded and each child receives a goody bag. Halloween music is played by Lion Bob Disinger.

Underprivileged Children’s Christmas Party
One of our most rewarding projects. It is the true meaning of Christmas when we invite all the local underprivileged children to a party just for them.(whether it is a family who has hit bad times due to an illness or just financial burden) Pizza, games, stocking full of goodies, presents, and don't forget the man in the red suit . It is a lot of fun and a time the kids will never forget.
